Ivan Simon Cary Elwes is a British actor best-known for his roles in the films The Princess Bride, Robin Hood: Men in Tights and Saw. He played David Lukner in Season Seven's "The Wait Out". Elwes had little experience playing characters with different accents, and he slips into his natural British accent a few times during the episode (such as when mentioning David and Beth Lukner's third anniversary), which the DVD release's "Notes About Nothing" acknowledges.
