David Lukner is the husband of Beth Lukner. He sells insurance. His lone appearance came in Season Seven's "The Wait Out", in which he was portrayed by British actor Cary Elwes. Elwes had little experience playing characters with different accents, and he slips into his natural British accent a few times during the episode (such as when mentioning David and Beth's third anniversary), which the DVD release's "Notes About Nothing" acknowledges.
David took extreme exception to a remark that George Costanza made about him and Beth; he made that same remark when he saw George with Susan Ross. Ultimately, David and Beth reconciled.
