Frances Bay (born Frances Goffman) was a Canadian actress who played Mabel Choate on Seinfeld; she appeared in "The Rye", "The Cadillac" and "The Finale". Frances appeared in a number of other films and television shows such as Happy Gilmore, Happy Days, Who's the Boss?, The X-Files, Grey's Anatomy along with many more. Frances passed away on September 15, 2011 of complications from pneumonia; she was 92 years old.
