Henry Ross is a wealthy socialite, the father of Susan Ross.

He is extremely judgmental and has a mean streak. He particularly dislikes Frank Costanza, especially after he steals the marble rye back from Henry.

He appears to be rather kind to some people, giving George a box of Cuban cigars.

He is extremely fond of his cabin upstate, which was built by his father in 1947. After Cosmo Kramer burnt it down, he apparently was extremely upset.

Henry Ross had an affair with author John Cheever, who wrote him a series of letters which were found after his cabin burnt down.

Henry Ross was portrayed by Warren Frost, whose first appearance was in The Cheever Letters.

Henry and his wife form the Susan Ross Foundation to honor their late daughter. They make George Costanza a member of the Board of Directors, much to George’s dismay. In “The Finale”, they make an outburst accusing George of murdering Susan.
