Jerry Stiller was an American actor. He starred in Seinfeld as Frank Costanza, George Costanza's hot-headed, fatherly, responsible, austere, no-nonsense, kind-hearted, cranky, obstinate, strict, thoughtful, assertive, negative, zany and altruistic father. He replaced the original actor for Frank, John Randolph. After Seinfeld he played the role of Arthur Spooner in Kevin James' sitcom The King of Queens, Carrie's father who lives in their basement. Jerry's son, Ben Stiller, is also an actor. Jerry was married to the late Anne Meara. Anne passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015. She was 85. Jerry Stiller passed away on May 11, 2020 at the age of 92 of natural causes.
