Pat Buckles, usually referred to as Buckles, is an obnoxious wannabe comedian who only appears in "The Movie"; he was played by Barry Diamond.
Jerry sees Buckles at the comedy club and asks the manager if he's putting Buckles on that night. The manager scoffs, says of course not, and that Buckles always hangs around to see if anyone drops out so he can take their place. Buckles later forces Jerry to share a taxi cab with him. During the cab ride, Buckles talks incessantly to Jerry about various things that Jerry does not care about. Later that night, Jerry misses his comedy show, and finds out that Buckles replaced him. Buckles and Jerry later go see Rochelle, Rochelle.
