Dawn Shirley Crang Bethel, (January 17, 1932 – November 4, 2005) better known as Sheree North, was an American actress, dancer and singer; she played Babs Kramer (Kramer's mother) on Seinfeld. She appeared in "The Switch" and appeared briefly in "The Finale". Sheree starred in a number of films and television programs during her career, such as How To Be Very, Very Popular (1955 film), The Lieutenant Wore Skirts (1956 film), The Golden Girls, Matlock, The Mary Tyler Moore Show along with many more. Sheree passed away on November 4, 2005 due to complications during cancer surgery; she was 73 years old.
